We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

For myself I am most excited to finish my baby nursery. I have asked family for help with the nursery and can’t wait to get it finished before Christmas. Baby will not be here until February, but I am looking forward to having it finished so I can finally put my feet up.
I am most looking forward to giving the gifts that I hand make for people. I love to crochet scarfs for family memebrs and frame photos I’ve taken with frames that I decorate myself or spray paint an awesome color.

Every year I’m So excited to give my 2 nephews their annual chirstmas ornament. The tradition started when they were 6 & 4 years old. Each year (this year will be the 3rd year) I purchase one nice (age/gender nuetral) ornament, usually silver looking, for each of them to open and put on their tree. Once they are old enough to have their own tree (perhaps with their own famil), they will each have enough ornaments to decorate it their first year without spending any money! Not only will they be beautiful timeless ornaments, but their trees will have a “theme”, sense of class, and will go with what ever they coose to add to it! Best part…I hope the ornaments will bring back fond memories of their childhood.

This probably sounds silly but I get really excited to give our dog his little gifts every year. It’s so cute to watch him sniff the packages, get all excited and tear off the paper. We especially love that he knows to only do this to his own stuff. ;)
