We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

I am most excited to see my 2 1/2 year-old’s face when he sees the mother of all construction vehicles: a crane with a rotating chassis AND stabilizer legs!

Maxx me!! I’m definitely in desperate need of new clothes for the office, so looking forward to giftcards to my favorite stores (including TJ Maxx!!). My sister and I are scheduling a monthly housekeeper for my father for Christmas this year, and I’m so excited about it! He works so hard and has been living alone in the huge house that I grew up in since my parents split, and I know he finds the task of keeping it clean very daunting.
