We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

At the top of my list is a spinning wheel (of all things!) for myself so I can spin my own yarn. I’m an avid knitter, have a small hand-dyed yarn biz, and now want to take it to the next level by producing my own yarn.
As far as what I’m giving… homemade baked goodies, classic board games, and movie theater gift passes. We’re all about getting together and doing stuff, so that’ll be the perfect gifts for our friends & family!

I worked at TJ Maxx from when I turned 16 until I moved out to KS for my real job as a teacher! After 6 years of working there…it is way more fun to be a shopper. Working at a store that people tear though to find deals can be exhausting especially at Christmas.
