Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

I would love a good view – I currently work in a closet. But some fun decorations would also be good (:

    OFFICE ME!

I would love a cozy space with lots of windows for natural light, with dark wood bookcase all around, a desk space free of clutter, and some plush pillows here and there for when I want to sprawl on the floor to work.

I would probably work at the salon, while having a pedicure. Or maybe a coffee shop that has super comfy chairs and free wi-fi, and some good carrot cake!

Oh yeah, and pets would be welcome. :)

OFFICE ME! I have actually just been working on my home office (as a way to procrastinate figuring out how to completely overhaul a rental house on a $0 budget), and this stuff is great.
If I had my druthers, I would have my office in the corner of a light-filled home art studio. But since I have A.D.D. by office would face a blank wall. Otherwise I would just get distracted :)

After all is said and done, I love my home office because I can work from home and still hang out with my posse (my three kids!) while I work! I wouldn’t change a thing….except for adding some aforementioned jazzy accessories!!!

    OFFICE ME!!

I love working from home, but somehow never got around to making our study both stylish and functional. It’s so easy to focus on the high-traffic areas (like living room or kitchen) and forget that we work-from-home-ers need an inviting work space too!

I would want/need an office that can go from bright, natural light and airy (what I prefer) to comfortable and dark. I spend lots of time in Photoshop and outside light sources can really mess with the brightness and coloring of the photos on screen. But i like the idea of open and naturally lit for when i “come up for air” :)

OFFICE ME…I am a teacher and work with 29 bright, eager, and unrelenting third graders. I desire serenity in an office. The beach would be divine! However, we are unexpectedly expecting our fourth child (yikes, how did that happen?). I am hoping to transition to a work from home situation, so these goodies would be well worth the cut in pay!! :)
