I already work from home…..my office is a nook (not even large enough to call a nook) in my dining room, in full view. I would love a bright, open, dedicated office. Preferably attached to an in-home studio full of skylights, with floor to ceiling windows on the north side, hardwood floors, a white sofa, and one wall made entirely of brick, but that is another contest, isn’t it.

I’d love an office with some privacy and natural light. Right now, I share a cube area with three other people, and the wall of windows that used to be behind where I sit was bricked over (fortunately before I started, since I would have cried if I had to watch it!) Right now, I have to walk to the end of one hall to look to the end of another to see what the weather’s like. It’d be great to just be able to turn my head!

Tough question – I’ve worked here 9 years and have had 9 different offices. I know what I don’t like! Okay – give me an office in the Sierra Nevadas where I have a huge picture window across from my desk. As long as I have a computer, my coffee maker (love that Keurig!), a photo printer, and that killer view – I’d be a happy little office worker…

I manage a program that gives out books to children from low income families around the United States, so we have a lot of kids’ book characters (think Curious George, Amelia Bedelia, etc) and cards we get from kids who got books from us making our office fun. So I actually already work in my ideal office, and love using fun office supplies like these to make it even more fun and eclectic.
