Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

    OFFICE ME!!
I would love to work from home so I can have my pups with me while I work! My office would be very bright and airy with lots of windows and comfy chairs.

I am currently in grad school so my office alternates between the library and my apartment. My only dream would to be done with grad school and have a real office desk of my own!

    OFFICE ME!

I don’t mind the office I work in now! My husband and I own an automotive repair shop and our office is filled with antique gas pumps! It’s so much fun to hear our customer’s stories of the days of old when gas was only 20 cents! It’s a pretty masculine place, so the only thing I’d like are a couple girly things for myself! Filing is no fun if the folders are boring!

    Office me!

I work from home, which I know is pretty awesome, but I’d secretly really love a real office in a real office building with coworkers and a work wardrobe and awful fluorescent lighting… the whole nine yards. Crazy, isn’t it?!

I of course would love a view and a lot of light, but a very organized, bright, clean space like Martha Stewart or Oprah – their offices are so organized it hardly looks as if there are ‘office’ or ‘work’ -related things present at all.

OFFICE ME! How much fun would that dry erase board be in my house office?!?! I LOVE organization…Love it, Love it, Love it! My husband, not so much…so this would help in getting his butt on board (hahaha!)

I work in a great office atmosphere, where my cube is like home with pictures and organization everywhere. I’ve done the personal office route, which I can’t knock at all! And I’ve also done the low cube situation, which I didn’t like as much as originally thought (too many distractions being able to see and hear everything. Done the work from home situation and I’m honestly not disciplined enough with wanting to get house stuff done and not work stuff. Done it all – I think it all boils down to the people and environment you are surrounded by most…my co-workers are like my second family!

    OFFICE ME!!

I would love to work in a high-rise corner office with a beautiful city view. I would also like a plush, tufted setee, probably in a bright color, for seating. And since I am a country girl at heart, I would need my office building to have a rooftop garden for some greenery and to help pump some oxygen back into the air. And a small putting green would be nice.

I would love to work from home full time. I am able to do it once a week now but am losing that option next year. I am much more productive at home and I get to work a lot earlier since I can work in my pajamas! If that wasn’t an option, I would love to keep my current office with my big windows and desk that is finally the right height for me.

I’d love to work at home if my home had a view (either the mountains or the beach, I’m not picky). If I don’t have a view at home (which I don’t currently), then I’d love my office to be based at home but be on the go constantly — meeting with clients, attending meetings, etc.

An office at the beach? Yes, please! Very open and light with lots of white and blue. And huge windows to open and hear the waves! I’m always more productive near water, which is why I get my best ideas in the shower — but the beach would be a nice change.
