Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

    OFFICE ME!

My ideal office would be in a LOFT with lots of open airy space to dream, inspire, and create! The room would have several skylights for natural light during the day. Perhaps it would even have one large blank wall that I would simply paint and repaint with murals depending on my mood or the season. A painter and creative type, I enjoy having lots of space to move around and manipulate the projects I am working on. A few large project tables with lots of cubbies and bins for all of my crafting and painting supplies would also be wonderful! Finally, the room would have to have floor to ceiling bookcases along one wall. I kinda like literature…and scrapbooking pictures of my two month old baby. Just a bit. ;)

    Wouldn’t it be nice?

    Office Me!

My dream office would be a personal library – 3 walls with floor-to-ceiling shelves of books, a fireplace, french doors that open into the house, and french doors that open onto a wrap-around porch with an expansive backyard. In the center of the room there would be a large mahogany desk with a rich black leather chair. And there would be a cozy seating arrangement in front of the fire for reading books on a cold winter night. (I’m an English major, OK? I love books! haha)

    OFFICE ME!

I am soooo in need of an office makeover it’s not even funny. Although we have a desk and a computer, the desk is piled high with paper and bills that need to be filed and organized. The printer and paper schredder lay scattered on the floor and it has been this way for years. I hate the mess and I hate even more to clean it up but with some and cheecky organizational tools this prize would do me some good. Love your blog!

    OFFICE ME!

I’ve worked for a dotcom with beer in the fridge and urban squirrels wandering through; for a game company where you were considered “dressed up” if you were wearing shoes; now I have a window office with fantastic views of the city and the Sound. I’d like to work in an office with a forest view, a place where people could bring their pets. And a really big desk, because I make a *lot* of piles.

Of course the office that I want is Roger Sterling’s office from Mad Men. Sleek, white, lots of natural light, and I suspect little actual work, mostly only drinking goes on there. :)

OFFICE ME! I would love to work from home. I made a sketch of a dual desk with cabinetry a few years ago. I’ve been itching to make it, but it is always on the bottom of the list since we have two (semi) functional desks that have done just fine.

And I also have a major thing for office supplies. Seriously, I might just have to get professional help for it. I go nuts for highlighters, Cookoo for binders, overjoyed at finding the perfect pens and pencils. I even ran out the very same day when I saw the coolest 3 hole punch at work and got one for myself. …Perhaps I SHOULDN’T be entering this giveaway…. :)

My dream office would be like the tower in HGTV’s 2010 Green Home Giveaway home. Windows on all four walls with beautiful views. *sigh. My current home office has one window the size of a tall door mirror. Making the best of what I have, though. And this prize would definitely help!

    Thank you!

My home office is a vanity that I’m not allowed to paint or refurb by order of my mother (at least I got to take of the mirror). My work office is essentially a table with 2 file cabinets. What I WANT is an airy space with cool neutral tones, a lot of natural light, storage that allows me to still see where things are and a supply of dry erase boards and post-its in abundance!

i am lucky enough to work in a great amazing office space. It is a renovated storefront on a main drag, and we outfitted it ourselves. There is a huge window wall! Also, our flooring is 100% local, made from red and white oak trees that came down around the county and milled and installed by the Urban Tree Forge. It’s the best and, even better, I can walk there from my house :)
