Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

OFFICE ME! Favorite office space? The one I have right now. It is on the second floor of my home, overlooking the backyard. I can see into the top of a huge Southern oak from my desk chair. Love it here. I do my crafting here and also homeschool my 12 y/o daughter in this 29×11 room (used to be a second story porch). I have lots of great storage space, a huge counter, and three large windows, two of which face south. Light, open and airy. And I designed it all myself. :) No where I’d rather “office” than right here.

Having worked in a cubical for (yikes) over 7 years now, I dream of an office with a wall of windows. I’d love to know the weather from my desk without having to go to weather.com…

    Please, please office me!!!

I just started working from home about a month and a half ago and, so far, I’m loving it. My office doesn’t have a view, but my cubicle in at my old 8 – 5 job didn’t either. My ideal office would be at home with a view of water or our “someday” property.

OFFICE ME! And I’d take any office that is light, bright and has a view. I’d like comfort, but not so much that I fall asleep. And I’d like to get there without having to commute through bumper to bumper traffic or a packed metro.

I like our department office at work, since everyone I work with is completely nuts. However, there are NO WINDOWS since it’s an internal space in the school. I’d love to have a view – even if it were of the hallway as the students walk by! (But a beach would be much, much better!)

    OFFICE ME…Please!

I am currently a graduate student and my office consists of an old broom closet. No windows and no heat! That is pretty bad when you have to suffer through cold Alaskan winters. i dream of an office by the beach so I can watch the waves, but right now I would settle for a window!

My dream office is detached from the rest of our house (which also currently exists in my dreams) nestled among some trees overlooking a backyard lake. 3 walls are floor to ceiling windows so plenty of light can flood in and the 4th wall is devoted to inspirations!

I’d love an office with an ocean or mountain view – the light and landscapes would keep me calm, yet productive. Also, I’d love a floor to ceiling built-in bookcase, as well as a surround-sound speaker system. Can’t get my work on without a little Michael Jackson and 80’s pop throughout the day! ;)

“OFFICE ME” Oh, let’s see, favorite office space. Well, I’m really lucky, and work in an office with a nice view of Lake Union from my cubicle. I do love that. To make it even better, I’d love a modern look, like open beams and that sort of dwell mid-century modern style. :) What a fantastic giveaway. We need to redo our “command center” at our house. That dry erase board with the channels would be an awesome start!

OFFICE ME. As a recent college grad used to living in tight dorm spaces, I’m still in the habit of doing most of my work on my bed (even now that I’m taking online classes for grad school). I have a real job now, and my desk has a fantastic window view, but everything inside the office is grey. I think I need a space with lots of color and light, and preferably lots of people around to make the work fun.

I have an extremely tiny desk in my “home office” (aka my living room!) and I would love to have an office with an actual door. To be able to go into another room to do my actual work (insurance data entry *yawn*) and the work I love (writing/crafting) would be priceless. A room with a door, that’s my dream office. And an awesome desk, like the kind I imagine a newspaper editor would have, or something small and filled with lots of knotholes, like something Jo March would have. Something from before the time of laptop cord holes and cable channels.
