Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

OFFICE ME!!! Because we are staying with family and live in the lower level, the only things we can truly personalize are our office-type items. I have my music and books here, but nowhere to put them. As a full-time online student, I would just like to make my space here functinoal, organized and most important, home-like for us.

Ok, so my husband just got his first “grown-up job” after graduating college this year (I’m so proud of him!) and it came with his own office. And that office needs to be decorated! Let me win!

I agree with a lot of my fellow posters, working from home would be a dream come true. Our front bedroom offers lots of light and a corner view of the neighborhood. Me and the Channel Panel would be oh-so-productive!

    OFFICE ME!

I’d love to work in a bright, light, open space with big tables and lots of space for brainstorming and lots of display areas on the wall for hanging magazine spreads and they go (I’m a communications manager/magazine editor for a nonprofit). There would always be candles burning, music playing, and something in the oven (there’d be a kitchen, too).

    OFFICE ME!

This giveaway would be the answer to my prayers. We recently turned our 3rd bedroom into a library, with a built in desk for my husband, who is a full-time student. However, his student-y mess is sucking the beauty out of what once was my beautiful serene space. These items would keep his stuff neatly corralled while also being nice to look at. A win-win for both of us.

My dream office is not an office at all – I’d love to work from my kitchen, doing catering or something else creative and food-oriented!

    OFFICE ME!

Oh, good grief, can I go with ALL (heck, I’d go with ANY) of the suggestions in your questions??? Current office has blah fluorescent lighting, bad layout, the first connection to the air conditioner/heater (cut to me freezing in the igloo during the summer — haven’t experienced winter in it yet, but I’m SOOOO looking forward), no windows, and whatever the military considers “decoration”/design (the wallpaper looks almost like they plastered really inconsistently woven cheesecloth on the walls). Sadly, I work like two tenths of a mile from a huge body of water I never get to see. Makes me want to cry.

Okay, I’m going to stop complaining about my office now… You gave me an opportunity to vent — YAY!
