Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. He and our oldest had a cub scout meeting v-day evening so the night before we fed the kids an early dinner and then sent them to their playroom so we could have a nice candle-lit dinner by ourselves. Happy Valentines Day! Our valentines day was filled with opposite schedules and glum faces because we couldn’t be together. But then my oh so sweet husband surprised me by bringing home wine and cheese after his night shift. He put on music, added a bit of candle light, and asked me to dance. It was a 10 min mini date at 1 o’clock in the morning and it was the best valentines day gift ever.
