Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes

  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!

PARTY TIME! We will be sending our son off to college in the fall, and the framed pics with messages like “be true!” would be so good for him to see every day. As for party supplies, I am hosting our book club meeting at the end of May, for a group of precious women who have become my close friends. Lots of laughter, eating, and occasional book reviews. I would love to really do something special for a special gang o’ girls for the next meeting.

Party time! We just held my son’s second birthday party at our new/first home – I went with an Italian theme mainly because pizza was the easiest main entree that was both kid & adult friendly and we could just order it. We did red & white decor with some green balloons and streamers thrown in. We also had mozzarella string cheese for the kids, a tomato/mozzarella/basil salad I whipped together (minimal cutting when you buy grape tomatoes and small mozzarella balls) and goodie bags with a soccer ball & tomato grow kit I found in the $1 section at Target the morning of the party (nothing like fate helping you out with last minute planning). This was our first “event” and it was fun to show off our home to friends and family, plus watch the kiddos have a good time too!

PARTY TIME! We most recently had my son’s 3rd birthday party at a local party (like Dave & Busters but for kids) in a superman theme. It was the cutest thing to see kids running around in capes (party favors), playing arcade games, and conquering the three story foam climbing/jungle gym!
