Fab Freebie: Party Time

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

    My son is turning 2 next month! May 10th, so his birthday must be close to Clara’s. We are throwing him a ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ themed party (actually 2 since we live in a different city than our extended family)and a prize like this would be so amazing! Can’t wait to see the party you throw for Clara!!

    Party time!! Our 5th wedding anniversary is just a little over a month away. We We got engaged and married less than 3 weeks from the time he left for Afghanistan. We went to the courthouse one day after work so we have no pictures, had no witnesses (besides the judge), no cake or anything. I’ve never felt cheated out of some fairy tale wedding since I got the man of my dreams but my husband feels like he could have given me more. So I am ordering a cake this year to surprise him to celebrate our love as a family with our kids.

    PARTY TIME! I’ll be celebrating my own wedding very soon :) We actually got married just the two of us at a civil ceremony two years ago, but now we’re having another ceremony followed by a big party in a teepee to celebrate with our friends :)

    PARTY TIME!
    Just this past weekend, we celebrated my daughter’s 2nd birthday with an old fashioned ice cream parlour theme. We did everything ourselves, including building a full size ice cream stand. It was a big hit, but maybe I’ll tone it down next year (or not)!

    PARTY TIME! We’re celebrating Cinco De Mayo with a T-Rex Dodgeball tournament at my work. Imagine it now…all the fun of dodgeball, with the tiny arms of a T-rex.

    PARTY TIME! My wedding anniversary isn’t until late November but I would love to plan a Mexican theme party and invite everyone that came to Mexico with us for our destination wedding! And let’s face it…I’ll probably need that amount of time to plan everything :)
