Fab Freebie: Pick Your (P)age

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!

Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.

Crate Barrel Pick Your Page

  • PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

“AGE ME” Is it possible for a do-over on my teen years?

Age me! Not really. I don’t like aging. I think I’d take about any age again. Not that I want to relive choices, but I’d love to ride along in my head and enjoy pretty much most time periods in my life. I feel all nostalgic for my memories these days. My 30s are making me feel insanely old. Watch out.

AGE ME!!!! I have a dozen different ages in my life that I wish I could live again, but most of them would have resulted in some change that would have prevented me from ever meeting my husband. And I fear The Butterfly Effect too much to chance it. I would, though, like to go back to 20. I want to live that year over again. I could even get to tweak a couple of the plans I made for my wedding day, and get to live that day all over again with a fresh perspective. On the day I turned 21, I married my husband. I also managed to delay the wedding by about 30 minutes because I totalled my car when I went to pick up a friend that was helping me with the flowers and such. Kind of scary stuff really. So perhaps I’d just choose a different route after I picked her up that day.

tldr; = I’d like to go back to 20. And just do SO MANY THINGS differently without negatively affecting how my life turned out. If that makes sense.

AGE ME – I turned 30 a few months ago and I’d like to stay at this age. Old enough to have some experience under your belt, young enough to not be dealing with a lot of health problems.

I am currently 22, and can’t say i have many complaints! The possibilities seem endless for me, and it’s still socially acceptable to make some tough mistakes being that i’ll learn some vital lessons! So i suppose i’d love to stay my age forever.. though that would mean no more Birthday Bonanzas! So the only age i’d like to be is 23… to Celebrate!!!

I’d love to flash forward about 10 years (temporarily!). Just found out my husband and I are expecting our first child and since we’re military I know we won’t be living in the same place down the road so I’d just love to see how we’ve changed since becoming parents, what our kid(s) is(are) like and where we ended up!
