Fab Freebie: Pick Your (P)age

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!

Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.

Crate Barrel Pick Your Page

  • PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

    AGE ME!

As I watch my toddler, soon to be 2, I would go back in a heartbeat. My day would go something like this: cartoons, breakfast, play, maybe hit up a playground or do some shopping, play, lunch, cartoons, nap, play, play, dinner, bath, play, a little reading, and nighty night! So you see, a lot of play and not a worry in the world!

AGE ME! Honestly, I love everywhere I have been, and I can’t wait to see where I am going, so, for right now, I am happy to be 31 and wouldn’t change it for the world.(well, maybe for the world).

AGE ME! I’m actually really happy with where I’m at right now. Is that cheating? If so, then I’ll choose to go back to 23– the year I graduated college, got married, biked through Italy and bought a house!

    (Happy birthday to Sherry!)

AGE ME-I would go into the future to be 64 (I’m 29 now).
My grandmother told me that was the age she was happiest because she finally “got it.” She retired, played with her grandchildren, and enjoyed simple pleasures (like making pancakes on a Tuesday) that she never had time for.

I think I’d like to be in my 30s (older than I am now). I’m pretending that life will be simpler – haha! – in my 30s, when I’m no longer in school, there’s job security, and hopefully some kiddies with my fabulous husband.

25 was my favorite year. I was old enough to learn from mistakes made in the past, but young enough (and “cool” enough) to still hang out with my younger sister and her friends (they were all just hitting 20 and 21). Plus, mid-twenties doesn’t sound as scary as the other mid-years do…

AGE ME! I would love to be 24 again that is a time of life when the possibilities are endless and you are young enough to not be ready to “settle” for the “safe road”. I think I would take a few more risks if I had it to do over.

In some ways I’m happy where I am because I wouldn’t want to go through problems from past years again.
But because I’ve always wanted to accomplish so much, I’d like to go back to 17 to redo college and career.
