Fab Freebie: Sherry’s Birthday Wish

You guys shut this puppy down with 10,000 entries in less than a day. Wow! So we’ve already selected our random winner. She is… Rhonda (who thinks she’s gonna ask for a juicer – to go along with her Christmas blender). Congrats!

Tomorrow is Sherry’s 31st birthday. So a few weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to do anything special giveaway-wise to celebrate. She looked dreamily towards the sky, a smile spread across her face, and she said “I want to do a Jonathan Adler giveaway and I want a picture of him holding ceramic animals and grinning like a fool. Because we are kindred spirits. That would pretty much make my year.”

A week later this photo appeared in my inbox:

The girl wanted a Jonathan Adler giveaway (you can read more about her love of the guy here) and the girl got it. The wonderfully cheerful people of Jonathan Adler were completely down with the idea (and the ceramic-animal-centric photo, apparently) so they’ve offered up a whopping $500 for one lucky winner to spend on whatever they’d like – animal or otherwise. Beyond obsessing over his white ceramic creatures, Sherry shares his love of poppy patterns, colorful accents, and chic accessories that don’t take themselves too seriously. So, um, happy birthday to one of you!

    My best friend and I plan to celebrate our fortieth birthdays this summer with a getaway trip. Details are still to be decided…but we’re thinking Washington DC.

    BIRTHDAY ME!!! I’ve been dropping hints since Christmas. I started grad school this semester and borrowed an ipad. It has been amazingly helpful so I’ve not so casually hinted that I would love that for a bday gift.

    For my next birthday I would like to spend a few days in San Diego with my boyfriend, to visit my sister and her boyfriend. And as an added bonus I would like a week without anything calling me away like work or school :) It seems we rarely have time to really visit, something is always coming up or on its way.

    Happy birthday. Mine is coming in May and I’d love a replacement sander. I haven’t been able to find mine in two years and I’ve been doing it by hand. Grr. I’d also love some J Adler eye candy, please.

    I’d love to be in my own place by my next birthday (before the show “How to Live With Your Parents Forever” becomes my life), and have a nice get together with friends. I would make food and have someone make cocktails and dress my cat in his tie. Nothing sounds better.

    BIRTHDAY ME! I just had a birthday about a week ago. I got everything I wanted…cupcakes, candy, donuts, and my car detailed (probably because I was eating cupcakes, candy, and donuts in my car). Dessert is really the way to my heart….
