My favorite foursome is my group of close friends. We call ourselves “The Mommy Mafia”, and we support each other in our many endeavors, and also perform random acts of kindness for each other, and for people in our community, usually anonymously (leaving treats and a note to congratulate one of our children for something they did at school, baking meals for a woman in the community after she’d been put on bed rest during her pregnancy, etc). When I moved across the country I never imagined I would make such amazing friends in my new town, and I have been more than pleasantly surprised by this wonderful group of women.
