And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I AM TALENTED … I can clean and tidy my entire flat within 10 minutes if I know somebody is coming over, otherwise it takes me forever! And I am a pretty good cook!

    I’m Talented at… remembering faces. I worked for the association of event planners and I would always surprise people by being able to hand them their name badges at events (we had 1,000 members) not that I remembered them all.

    My childhood talent was becoming moderately ok at some talents (piano, art, tennis, karate) and then forgetting them after summer vacation. Now I’m a novice crocheter.

    If you tell me your birthday I’ll remember it for forever. Even if you’re the random girl in my first grade class who moved away in second grade. Can’t remember her name, but I can remember her birthday! :-)

    I’M TALENTED
    I am pretty good at singing my two-year-old son to sleep. It usually takes quite a few songs, but in the end he calms down and eventually falls asleep.
    (At least I hope he falls asleep and isn’t just pretending so I will finally stop … mmh, makes me think…)
