We just bought our house a couple of months ago so our list is incredibly long! Our big fall/winter project will be overhauling the master bath by taking out the tub & doing a huge, tiled shower, replacing the linoleum floors with tile (or maybe cork flooring?), new vanities & sinks, paint & new fixtures.
We’re also hoping to get going on the kitchen as soon as possible. How on earth does one not notice a house has absolutely NO DRAWERS (nope. none. not anywhere) until the final walk-through?!

We’re tackling a reupholstery project for the 25 year old sofa we were given by my in-laws. My hubs grew up with it and is too attached to let it go, I can’t argue because its heaven to sit/sleep on!

our fall plans for our house in tx: complete (well, actually, only the deck stain is done–no furniture or accessories, no lighting or pretty fabrics yet) our outdoor space so when the inferno heat decides to settle down a bit by October, we’ll have the chance to extend our living area, be outside in our beautiful new room, and actually be able to GET OUT OF THE AC to breathe in some real air. a girl can dream, right?

We are going to finally address our unusable shower upstairs by getting a professional to add the needed water proof backing and reglazing the tile a bright white, and then we will DIY a new bathroom floor, light fixtures, raise the shower curtain and paint the room! It will be great to use the bathroom upstairs instead of showering downstairs.
