It’s funny, my husband and I were just discussing the remaining projects this weekend! On our plans: installing new flooring downstairs (carpet or laminate) and finishing off our garage are the plans for this year… at least the big ones. :)

Fall project: rip out a bunch of flox and other plantings from the previous owner and plant grass. Not the best choice sustainability-wise, but we just cannot keep up with the landscaping we “inherited”!

Talk To Me! I’m still in full-on summer mode. We moved so recently that we haven’t even gotten any patio furniture. With all of the end-of-summer sales, though, we hope to get a couple of chairs and a table. We also want to fix up the hanging baskets and standing planters so everything’s ready for next summer’s gardening season.

We are getting ready to start on a major remodel (adding a larger master bathroom and an elevator, removing popcorn ceiling, new hardwood flooring throughout the house and painting all interiors and trim).
