This fall we are planning to redo our main bathroom. Right now, it’s just a bathtub and we want to add a shower plus replace the toilet and vanity. We would also love to paint our living room and front porch. I wouldn’t mind if the entry way flooring would be replaced either. My fall/winter to-do list includes figuring out a way to paint/redecorate our ugly 60’s bathroom in such a way to minimize the ugliness of the tile, since we don’t have the money to re-tile. I also have two bedrooms to paint, and I’m thinking about a stenciling project for one of them.

My husband and I are pricing shutters for inside our kitchen window – we want to brighten up the space and add some white shutters to let in light and eliminate the current curtains, which really make the window seem small and dark right now! Do you have any good ideas for us? These things are expensive!!! We live in a newer home with little-to-no structural interest so we also think the shutters will add some visual interest to the room!

Since I am due in January we have a lot of winter projects on our plate. One of the biggest and most necessary (aside from the nursery of course) would be a railing for our stairs. We have a very open house with a lot of stairs and walkways. When we remodeled a few years ago the railing came down with the intent to replace right away and it just hasn’t happened. With a baby on the way it is a must do!
