Living in an apartment, I don’t tackle too many big projects, but I love reading your site for design inspiration (esp on a budget). Our upcoming project is painting an accent wall (blue-gray) for our bedroom in honor of our new mattress and new bed going in it.
Then I have to figure out how to cover the area of the wall in the living area that’s designed for a mounted TV (we have ours on a media stand).

Our big fall project is a the new garage door we’ve been saving up for since the garage on our 1959 raised ranch is right under our bedroom and the original door isn’t insulated. A boring but very necessary project.
The fun project is redoing four children’s chairs from the early 50s that were in the church where I grew up. I’m paralyzed with indecision, but I’ll work through it!

We have a horrible, I mean horrible white tile kitchen floor with huge black grout lines that is so cracked it is starting to look more like a mosaic tile floor than 12×12 tiles. I hate it so. Hopefully this fall we will begin tackling it. HOPEFULLY!

I’d really like to knock down the half wall seperating my dining and living areas, I’d also like to fill in the weird alcove (that apparently was originally supposed to be a chimney) with shelves for books,and last, but certainly not least, I really want to get some sheepskin rugs to put on the chairs in my family room or maybe knit or crochet some cool throws…
