I’m lightening up my living room by changing the color scheme from deep reds and greens to aquas and cream with pops of coral. Aaaah… Doing it all with fabrics and paint to keep the cost down. I also repainted my hutch using your instructions and it came out great. Never would have known to use an oil primer, or the Minwax Polycrylic Clear Gloss. It has a lovely patina and will look great once the torrential rains stop and everything dries. Thanks!

I need to relight the gas fireplace when the weather cools down. The house stays very comfortable without any heat or A/C for about three months in the summer, so we turn off the pilot light to save an extra $20 on the bill. I love our mild summers.
I might also ask the landlord to get the chimney inspected. The metal sheeting has a few slight gaps in it that I don’t like. (Yes, we have a CO2 detector!)
