TALK TO ME! We are updating our house a bit at a time. It was move it ready – but a couple of rooms need some help. First on my list – updating the dining room – new paint, new light, new table. Furniture for the adjacent front room (and paint too), and turning the upstairs bedroom into our sons big boy room.. I hope to move him upstairs by May next year!

We’re planning on building a book shelf/cubby holes for our daughters room. We are currently in the middle of a record breaking heatwave, so I think we’ll save this project for cooler weather. 100+ degree and a garage full of powertools is not a good combination! :)

We’re in the process of re-doing our entryway (replaced the door already, now we’re opening up the tiny closet so the entryway’s a little bigger, re-insulating and re-drywalling, and we also opened up the ceiling for a nice high vault!) – but once that’s done, I’m really focused on three things:
1) New front steps and front path (canNOT deal with that broken icy mess for another winter!)
2) New ceilings upstairs (they’re a weird mix of tiles – ugh!)
3) Painting the outside (hubby doesn’t agree that this is a priority, nor does he want to do it ourselves – I’d do it MYself, without him, if I weren’t preggo)
