We gave random.org the assignment again of helping us choose our winner and they chose… Sarah (who could think of 10 little projects that have added up that she could use this for). Congrats Sarah!

Since the early days of YHL, we’ve been buddies with the foursome over at One Project Closer. Ethan, Fred, and their wives Jocie and Kim dish up tutorials, tool reviews and decor posts to help us all get (say it with me) one project closer to our dream house. Recently they’ve launched a series of “Pro-Follows” where the boys tag along with professional contractors to document big projects like building a deck (which we may be referencing soon ourselves). But if that makes you break into a sweat, perhaps their new The Better Half section (where the ladies tackle design and craft projects) is more your speed. Whichever suits you, One Project Closer is helping someone get one hundred dollars closer this week with a $100 prize to the home improvement store of your choice. Now that should suit just about everyone, right?

    Get Me Closer!

    i’ve got a VERY long list of things that need to be done around the house – most likely would use it towards getting shelves for our shed along with storage bins so i can move some stuff out of the house that has been invading my office!

    Get me closer!! Luckily we just finished our two biggies, the kitchen and bathroom, but we’re looking to move on to the closets now. We only really have 3 closets in the who house so making them as efficient as possible while still looking pretty would be a major step closer to our dream!

    GET ME CLOSER to starting some projects in the home we are buying! This would be a great start with paint, new hardwood floors, or all the wood trim we are planning to add.

    GET ME CLOSER. That’s such a hard question. Right now we are working on painting our living room, but we still have to paint our kitchen cabinets, refinish a tub/shower in the bathroom and figure a way to get our backyard into a more livable spabe.

    I’d love to be finished with our hall bathroom. We removed wall paper, painted, and added new fixtures and decorations. We still need to tile and get a new vanity but we’re waiting to build up the old bank account before we get there.

    Get me closer! There are so many projects to do in this house, most of them huge, so I just want to complete the small-ish task of painting everything. There’s a lot of really gross sponge painting from the former owners here, and I’ve had enough.

    GET ME CLOSER! Soo many projects to finish at my house! Our hallway has been in progress for several months now after we gutted it and started building a hall closet..so I would love to finish that up to start!

    GET ME CLOSER! My husband and I are under contract on our first home and there are many projects that await us…turning the half bath into a full bath, painting all the rooms, finishing the basement – the list is long!!
