We gave random.org the assignment again of helping us choose our winner and they chose… Sarah (who could think of 10 little projects that have added up that she could use this for). Congrats Sarah!
Since the early days of YHL, we’ve been buddies with the foursome over at One Project Closer. Ethan, Fred, and their wives Jocie and Kim dish up tutorials, tool reviews and decor posts to help us all get (say it with me) one project closer to our dream house. Recently they’ve launched a series of “Pro-Follows” where the boys tag along with professional contractors to document big projects like building a deck (which we may be referencing soon ourselves). But if that makes you break into a sweat, perhaps their new The Better Half section (where the ladies tackle design and craft projects) is more your speed. It would be more like get me started. We purchased our first home this month and I feel like I have a list as long as yours in my head of things I want to do with the house! We have already painted the living room, kitchen, halls and master bedroom. I cannot wait to get decorating. With 100 bucks, I would prob put towards changing the fixtures in the bathroom or to start changing out the brass origional light fixtures.

Get me closer: I really really want my laundry room finished. There are no cabinets or shelves. :( When the builder built the home, they changed the laundry room to a mud room with a bench and eliminated cabinets. We CL’ed the bench before moving in and never added anything- that was 2.5 years ago.
