I work in trade shows/events so we’re always working with hard deadlines, and always lots of last-minute details. I never know if that package we overnighted is going to arrive, whether the hotel will lose it, wether the graphic was produced correctly, etc. Once the show opens it is go-time whether you’re ready or not.

Not really sure if this counts for “living on the edge” but with my husband in his medical residency and still not knowing where we’ll be living and/or working in two years, we’re just kind of hanging out with no real long-term details in our head. This has been going on for about 7 years now since we’ve graduated college and have embarked on his journey to M.D. I’m typically a person that likes to have at least an idea of what I’ll be doing down the road, so this has been something I’ve really had to get used to!
