though, truth be told, i don’t yet have a tattoo (all the more reason to win one from you guys!) i could never choose something that i’d feel good about being THAT permanent on my bod. it took me 3 years of hemming-and-hawing to decide on a 2nd hole in one of my ears, and that is something that would be INVISIBLE if i didn’t wear an earring. so, this Dirt Devil Tattoo would be my only one. :)

I got a tattoo last year on a trip to Las Vegas. I got a small maple leaf on my back at Hart & Huntington. My sister got it for me as a birthday gift.
My husband’s tattoo is a better story. Before we were married he surprised me by showing me his chest and my name (Jennifer) tattooed on it! Me being super practical responded with, “It’s a good thing that Jennifer is a popular name, it would be easy for you to find another one if this doesn’t work out!”

TATTOO ME!!! There was a scribble that I did over and over in my teens. At my 29th birthday, I went and finally had it tattooed on my…wait for it….yes, lower back. But, I LOVE it. Two lines that look like a dancer with 2 dots for each of our little munchkin blessings! We now have a third – 4 months old, so I will be adding another dot! And I love that when the conversation comes up with my kids, I can say “well, when your 29, you can do whatever you want.” :)
