I always wanted my cat’s paw print put on my arm. She was with me for 20 years- got her when I was ten and she passed when I was 30. She was the love of my life before my husband and daughter. I’m 32 now and still wanting the tattoo. I have a paw print from her so it still may happen!

I have one tattoo on my back. There is a black, very angular design behind a bright, colorful butterfly. It symbolizes a time in my life where I broke out of a very unhealthy, restrictive place in life and was able to open my wings, so to speak and find peace and beauty in myself. I got 8 years ago and have never once regretted it but I think that’s mostly because its in a very concelable spot and I have the ability show only those who I wish to see it.
I also happen to actually be in the market for a new vaccumm so this would be great!

And a beautiful butterfly on my left shoulder blade that I can choose to show or hide. I chose tattoos that meant something to me. Tattoo me! I have 3. All involving stars. One star on my wrist to symbolize me and my best friend’s friendship. I have my last name on my back surrounded by stars, cuz it’s the best last name ever and I didn’t want to “lose” it when I got married. I am also the last family member with the name, so no boys to carry it on. And lastly I have two stars on my neck. They are for my stepbrother and my grandfather who both passed away within a month of each other. I like to think that they are my stars looking down on me!

I have no tattoos but I have a history of “wanting one”! First, I wanted one on my big toe, but tought that would be too painful. Then, I wanted one along my lower back, but then I found out that can interfere with epidurals. Then I wanted one on my neck because I hate wearing jewellery and thought it would be nice art. Then I saw one that was so tasteful, on the arm and I fell in love. When I’m done having babies, I’m going to seriously consider that too, perhaps on my leg though… We’ll see!!
