My dad’s old, faded stretched out parrot and butterfly are enough for me to say, “NO!” Blech. TATTOO ME… I do not have any tattoos yet, but I really like this design of falling stars I saw on a friend that it goes from her right hip to the back. I like that is creative and colorful. But doesn’t feel yet like it would be something I be ok about for my entire life. I feel like we are ever changing the way we are and how we feel about things the longer we live, and more things we go through. whatever I think is so important today, I might think tomorrow how silly I was for doing that. I have not yet found the idea that it would great enough to have colored in my skin for life. With that said I’m not opposed to tattoos, just haven’t found the right one yet.

TATTOO ME! I have 6 tattoos and my favorite one is the one in Gaelic around my foot and ankle (I’m Irish and Scottish) that combines the mottos from my mother and father’s family crests. Roughly translated it means “that I may be of use by sea and by land”. I got it before I got married and changed my name so I would always have a reminder of my heritage!

I have two tattoos. I’d wanted one since I was a little kid (weird, right?) and I got my first on my 18th birthday, much to the chagrin of my father. I somewhat regret the placement, but not the tattoo itself. I feel like tattoos are a way to express yourself, and when I look at mine I think about who I was when I got them and how far I’ve come.

Tattoo Me. I have two tattoos, the first tattoo I got was my wedding band. My husband and I looked at countless designs and none seemed to fit us so instead of the traditional tattoo band, we got a monogrammed “S” on both of our ring fingers (our last name is Smith). We also both have matching tattoos that are on our left feet, it’s a symbol that stands for “good water”. He has many more, I just have the two.
