Fab Freebie: The Devil’s In The Details

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to the devilish randomization that is random.org, our two winners are… Steph (who was just talking to a colleague about the two tattoos she has…for now) and Alason (who’s thinks her little butterfly tattoo on her back makes people assume she’s a bad girl). Congrats ladies!

Since you guys seemed to enjoy last week’s spring cleaning related giveaway, how about another? Your house can’t possibly be all cleaned up yet can it? This one comes from the folks over at Dirt Devil who are gonna hook two of you up with a tattoo. But you’re not going to disappoint the parental units in this case. The Tattoo is a light-but-powerful canister vacuum that boasts an ornate “tattoo” design on its body, comes in four devilish hues, and includes cool details like an automatic cord rewind feature. You know, so you can suck with style.

Dirt Devil Tattoo

  • PRIZE: A Dirt Devil Fantasy Tattoo series canister vacuum in any color
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TATTOO ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … dish about what tattoo(s) you have, wish you had, wish you didn’t have, or never ever wanted (feel free to share the where and the why too if you’d like).
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Dirt Devil.

I always wanted one, but now that I’m settled down with a kid, I might not ever get one. I wanted either a star, or a gnome riding a turtle.

    Tattoo me!!

I have 3 tattoos, so far. My first was a dolphin over a sunset on my lower back that I got right after I turned 18…and was my rebellion against my mother. My second is a butterfly on my shoulder, which I got after I got out of a bad relationship as a sign of flying forward into a new life. My third is a cross going through an ichthus on my ankle that I designed myself, simply as a sign of my love of Christ. I plan on two more: one is the saying, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” in Hebrew (for my husband) and once we are done having children, I will get one with their names somewhere.

Oh, and I definitely don’t look like your average tattoo lover.

TATTOO ME! I think the only tattoo I’d ever get would be one of my son’s footprints on the left side of my ribcage because tahts where he had his feet for the whole pregnancy.
I did once see a guy at the grocery store that had the tattoo “Nothing is forever…” tattooed on his check, hate to break it to him but that is forever man…

I have 4, but only 3 are visible. #4 covered up #2, which was a total mistake. I have flowers on my shoulder blade that I got when I was 19 (and still love, even though it needs a touch up), cherry blossoms on my ankle (I regret getting one in that spot, but it’s there now. LOL.), and 3 little stars on the inside of my wrist.

I’m not done getting them, but I definitely put a lot more thought into them now!

    TATTOO ME!

I got my first tattoo when I was a freshman in college. No, I was not worried about what future employers would say. I had the grand idea that I would never even consider working for a company that had a problem with me because of tattoos. I was an artist! An intellectual! Free from Mom! Anyway, over the next few years I got several other pieces of body art. They can all be covered, but some parts usually show. I’ve never had any problems with employers, even in my boring, grown-up profession of accounting. And while I haven’t even bothered to get them touched up in a decade, I wouldn’t want to remove them. Like the huge scar on my knee or the stretchmarks up to my belly button, they are a reminder of a different time in my life. Now my hair is sprinkled with gray and I always end the day with snot, drool or baby food on my work clothes. And I need a vacuum cleaner that does stairs and fits in my linen closet because my Dyson Animal is harder to carry up the stairs than a 19 month old who doesn’t want to go to bed.

Mostly because we desperately need a new vacuum, but hell while I’m here should let you know that I do have a tattoo (a tramp stamp — somewhere my mother just shed a tear hearing those words). Got it in college as an act of rebellion/personal expression and I still love it to this day!

TATTOO ME: Never considered one, but have seen some small discreet ones, like on the ankle, that look quite adorable. However, at mt age, the idea of a lightweight vacuum, with an auto rewind cord, and in a cool color, is much more appealing. Bring it on, please.

    TATTOO ME!

Oh man, we really need a new vacuum… we moved to a house with all wood floors a few years ago and only had a few area rugs so we got a cheap-o vacuum that now no longer does its job very well and is discontinued so I cannot even find the filters for it anymore. Now that we live in a fully carpeted house we can’t hold out much longer.

And, no tattoos here! Nothing against them, I just can’t think of what I would ever get.
