Everyone’s favorite modular carpet square maker is back for another giveaway, and this time it’s bigger and better than their awesome 2009 prize. This time FLOR is gonna hook our winner up with enough tiles to build a custom 8 x 10′ rug – which also breaks down to be enough tiles to create a runner and a smaller area rug if that’s more your style. FLOR ME… Spring is my favorite season… It’s always the day after my birthday (March 19th!) It’s kind of a schizophrenic season… It can be warm and sunny, or chilly and rainy… The best of both worlds! Everything turns green, and the air is clear… Here in Long Beach, CA, Sunday and yesterday poured down rain, and now it’s blissfully sunny, and chilly… Just the perfect time of the year!

I love those first few weeks of spring when it is in the 80s (I live in Charleston, SC) just before it gets sweltering. Outside becomes such a paradise and everything on your to do list suddenly takes a backseat to a barefoot walk outside.

Flor me! I love the fall–the crisp air, the beautiful palette of bright leaves and the sweaters and scarves that keep you warm. There is nothing better than apple cider and a hike in the mountains looking at the foliage. Also a great time to work on your house…you can still go inside and out without worrying about the cold weather or getting to hot. Just perfect :)

And we are putting in hardwood floors just before baby time… and we already have a dog so we need rugs asap!!
