Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

I’m all about the thick socks, PJs, and throw blankets. In fact, I didn’t get out of my PJs even once yesterday….

To combat the frigid weather here in the midwest, I’m keeping blankets, hot cocoa, and clothing to cover from head to toe close at all times!

I’ve been keeping warm by embracing fashion and my love of layers! Instead of dreading winter, like I usually do, I made sure to pick up some fabulous boots, gloves, scarves, leggings etc. to keep me warm all winter :)

“HEAT ME UP!” … We live in Minnesota, so keeping warm is a top priority for us. We’re all about hot chocolate, fires in the fireplace, extra blankets and, of course, snuggling.

We are staying warm with a very large energy bill! LOL – We live in upstate NY so, between the snow and cold, it takes a large energy bill, lots of hot chocolate and sometimes a snuggie :)

HEAT ME UP in our basement family room! This is where we keep the only TV in the house, and we like to watch DVD’s like old Little House on the Prairie episodes or The Waltons… but we’re often freezing in the middle of winter! We’d love to score one of these babies. :)

HEAT ME UP! I plan to keep warm in upstate NY by huddling in front of the fireplace which, coincidentally, just got a YHL-esque makeover this morning! After 13 years of living with awful brass fireplace doors, I spray painted them a lovely hammered black metal. A lovely little stove like these would be perfect for our basement!
