Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!

There is a Mark Twain quote that goes, “The coldest winter I ever spent is a summer in San Francisco”, and while that might be true, this winter has been even colder than any of our famous summers! I’ve keeping warm by snuggling up with my husband (of 3 months!) and drinking lots of hot chocolate. A fireplace would complete the scene!!

    HEAT ME UP!

It’s been a fairly mild winter here in Texas! We seem to have several days in the 60’s each week!! But, when it does get chilly, we all pile onto the couch and snuggle together under blankets!

Oh I want this – I’ve seen these online and it looks awesome. I am keeping warm this winter with my Nashville Predators snuggie I bought from the Pro Shop. I always made fun of Snuggies but I can admit that I was wrong! That thing is AWESOME! That and snuggling up to my dogs helps.

HEAT ME UP. We do our best to keep warm by turning on the space heater in our room upstairs and closing the door. We usually don’t run our central heat because with bad insulation it goes right through the walls and raises our bill! North Florida gets colder than you’d think:)

    HEAT ME UP!

I’m using an old portable heater to keep things warm during this cold winter. The trouble is, we have to unplug it and take it with us from room to room when we’re in the living room, dining room or bedroom. Not so convenient, but it works at the moment!

Thanks so much for passing along your freebies to your readers. So generous of you both. :)

    HEAT ME UP!!!!!

Our drafty old (excuse me, “vintage”) apartment is providing me with the coldest winter in my life so far. The fact that I’m a CA girl who moved to KS is also a factor in that. But in order to overcome blue feet, layers, layers, and layers of clothing have come in handy. And blankets. And the heater repairman who’s been here once and we’ll have to call again at least twice before the end of the winter.

Last year we had record breaking amounts of snow here in NE, but this year we have had less than 10 inches. So it hasn’t been much of a problem to stay warm. But winter always means more soup, hot chocolate and fuzzy blankets.
