Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

I’m staying warm in FL but would love one of these because no houses in the area have fireplaces and there are a few nights a year where one would be great but looking good all year

Heat Me Up! It has been a cold winter here in East TN and we had the first white Christmas that I can remember in ages. It was wonderful. We were eyeing an electic fireplace just the other day since we live in an old farmhouse without central heat and air. How we stay warm? A new heater this year, lots of layers and snuggling under blankets. You have to love winter!

So I don’t deserve to win this, because I have been unabashedly yelling at my kids all day long, but I am entering as a pick-me-up to try to relieve myself of some of this guilt. We live in North Dakota, where temps average around -20 in the winter. We keep warm just by cranking the heat, and layering up till only our faces show before we go anywhere! We’d love to have some heat with “ambiance!” (not AMBIENT heat…lol). Now I am off to get my kids out of the bath and into bed–so I can get a break! <3, Collette

Heat me up! Whenever it gets super-Midwestern-cold, I cast fashion to the icy wind and don my “Hold Me I’m a Fermata” sweatshirt that I got 20 years ago from my junior high piano teacher. It’s an eye sore, for sure, but it’s just about the coziest thing I own! :)

    HEAT ME UP!

While the rest of the nation has been frozen solid, Seattle has had a super-wet winter (yes, wetter than usual, even for us here in the Rainy City). Nothing would be nicer than to come in soaked from the 35 degree rain and be able to warm up and dry off in front of a nice little electric fireplace.
