Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    Baby it’s cold outside.

This year I am using two afghans crocheted by my grandmothers, a quilt made by my great grandmother and lots of wacky socks that I seem to acquire each and every Christmas. LOVE!

We sure could use one of these fireplace electric heaters for guest room upstairs. My mom and stepdad, brother, friend and step-sister are all visiting next weekend. We were just looking at a couple at our local Menards. It would be sweet if you won!

Otherwise we are staying warm snuggling up with our new addition to our family, our puppy Sadie. She loves to snuggle.

We just moved to TN this year, and it’s been a fun winter so far. We’ve had VERY cold temperatures, and lots of snow already. We’ve stayed warm by drinking hot teas, hot chocolate, and layering. ;) I’m just SO thankful we have heat, warm clothes, and a roof over our head…so many people don’t have even that!

Living in New England you learn tricks like which room in the house stays the warmest and layers, layers, layers!! A nice hot chai latte on a frigid day doesn’t hurt either! ;)

Hmmm…usually I just pour myself another cup of tea or cocoa to warm me up, but this year we actually had to replace the furnace too. I think it’s generally best not to toy around with carbon monoxide leaks!!

Living in AZ with the HOT summers…winter is hard on us here!! 75 and below I am breaking out the scarves and warm sweaters. My mothere lives in a historical district with a cute little house…but heating the whole house is hard so she bundles up!! its so funny! Ill come by and she looks like she ready to go outside…poor thing. But reality its 68 inside….Believe me,,,,,that is cold to us. I think this little warmer would be a blessing to her! She would just LOVE it! She would be a little snuggle bug!

I live in central/South Texas…so it’s not very cold even in the winter, but with stained cement floors, and a house built in 1949 with the original, un-sealed windows an electric fireplace would be dreamy!!
