Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!

We have had a cold winter too with lots of snow! I stay warm under my wool blanket and putting my cold feet on my husband.

I would love an electric fireplace and so would my husband–no more cold toes on his legs.!

    Heat me up!

I’m one of those “dogs = family” people, so all winter long they’re joining me on the couch, bed, etc. to serve as company and heaters! They love that they’re able to chill with their people under a blanket, and I love that none of us are, well, chilly.

HEAT ME UP!!! Baby it’s cold outside here in Maine, and we try to stay warm with electric mattress pads on our beds and home-made scarfs around our necks. I’d love a heater in our bathroom, it sure would be easier to get up in the morning!

My husband and I have been married less than a year, so as newlyweds we are taking advantage of the cool weather and snuggling as much as possible. I also heat up my towel or clothes in the dryer before putting them on.

We have a record number of inches of snow in Indy this winter. We keep our heat at about 67 degrees, so an electric fireplace would help make it warmer thru the next three months:)

HEAT ME UP !!!! After snowmaggedon here in Maryland last year,I was hoping for a milder winter, however the cold seems to have settled over our house. Flannel and fleece is the best way to stay warm whether you are cuddling under the covers or on the sofa with your honey it’s the only way to go.

I finally (after living in Montana for 2 years) bought some snow boots. My feet are finally nice and toasty despite 2 feet of snow and subzero temperatures.

We could really use one of those heaters in our basement. Our 1946 Craftsman home is great but the basement is so much colder, brrrr.

HEAT ME UP! We’re unable to use our fireplace this year and have been keeping the house at 65, so options are fleece pajamas (also so very, very soft), extra socks, long underwear, enough tea to sink a horse, letting the dog sleep in the bed, my grandma’s old bed heater… or perhaps all of the above! Now if only I could stay warm at work, too!

My Craftsman Story & 1/2 Bungalow has one teeny-tiny register that supplies the large upstairs bedroom. Being a full time student, I haven’t broken out the funds to by a space heater. Instead, I borrowed some blankets from mom, and piled them on. One of these would go a long way in making my bedroom a whole lot cozier.
