Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!

Oh goodness, I do not like the cold at all. Typically I “fly south” for a week or two during the cold months (so that all the ice I see is in my beverage glass). However, this past year I got married and we bought a house. So budget wise we are keeping warm by cuddling during this winter season… well, we are newlyweds. :)

We have a very drafty 40 year old home… so I’ve been wearing Rocket Dog slippers and some fleece pajama pants that I got for Christmas to keep me warm!

I’m in Richmond too- already two snows and more on the way! We live in a 1947 Cape Cod… with original windows. We just ordered new ones, which will arrive by the end of February. In the meantime, lots of snuggling with our two dogs and cat!

My 95 year old home earned itself some insulation (blown-in & attic) this year, so I’m hoping this year will be warmer than last. We could really use the extra heat upstairs though!

    HEAT ME UP!!!

I am living in Mobile, Alabama- not the coldest city around but it does get down into the 20s. We have a fireplace (no ceiling fan…but a fireplace in the humid south…) so we have heated that sucker up a couple times when it has dropped into the 20s. However, to be completely honest…if I were to win this I would just send it to my grandma in Cincinnati, OH. I just found out she has been spending over $1000.00 every month on gas for her heating in her house. She honest cannot afford it but is always so cold!

HEAT ME UP! We’re doing our best to stay warm during our first winter in our OLD house without cranking the heat too high. We’re currently tackling the project of finding heavy curtains that will keep the heat inside our house instead of escaping through our big leaky windows without making our rooms feel too closed in!

HEAT ME UP! My sweet boyfriend’s home is nestled in the north Georgia mountains and is warmed with two large fireplaces and a handful of space heaters. Everyone typically bundles up in sweatshirts and blankets, periodically putting more logs on the fire. His family would love and appreciate a new, sassy, electric fireplace (especially the Lincoln or Danville!).
