Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:
Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).
So here’s how to enter:
- PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!
Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

Lots of sweatshirts and blankets – and it helps that I have 3 mini heaters in bed with me each night! (my 2 dogs and my guy!)

Last night was -20 degrees here in the San Juan mountains! Ice on the inside of the windows! Great memories for our first year in our little home! We definitely keep our hot water kettle running and lost of snuggles with our new chocolate lab puppy! A new heater would be great!

I’m staying warm under my new super soft throw from target :)

We keep our thermostat at 64 and supplement that with a small ceramic heater in our living room.
Rebekah says
HEAT ME UP! We have been trying to stay warm by keeping the heat down during the day and wearing layers. I have to admit though that we do turn the heat up at night so that our 18 month old (who we dress in layers but who will not keep the covers on) will stay warm enough to sleep through the night. You do whatever is necessary to keep little ones asleep!

2 new pairs of slippers and a newly installed “furnance” (due in July) is helping keep me warm!

Heat me up! I’m staying warm with ll bean slippers (seriously worth the price tag for cold Iowa winters and I’m cheap!) and baby snuggles. :)

Because my house was built in the 30’s if that gives you any idea how well insulated it is. In addition, it’s a rental… To keep warm I gather up my three foster kitties and cuddle on the couch with a big blanket.

Staying warm with lots of hot drinks!
Tracey says
HEAT ME UP! To keep warm, I like to brew a fresh pot of loose leaf tea in my teaposy.

HEAT ME UP!!!
To stay warm I like to go for a run/walk outside and then take a long hot shower. I know it dries out my skin but I can’t stop! I am just imagining myself in front of a nice fire with a blanket and cup of hot cider. Mmm…

Its chilly out west! To keep me warm, I’ve been wearing my new jacket & long ski socks.

Heat me up! You would think living in northern California I’d be nice and warm but this morning it was 35! My hubby and I stay warm by snuggling under the covers with our 2 year old Boston terrier :). The only thing our home is missing is a cozy fireplace!
Robyn says
HEAT ME UP! Let’s see…I own 3 new coats this winter! These fun new additions to my wardrobe have definitely helped me get out the door in the VERY cold (and unseasonable) weather we’ve had here in the Northwest!
Carole White says

I’ve been staying warm with a new coat, scarf & gloves – all Christmas presents from my Mom…and I spend a good deal of time enjoying the warmth of a space heater at home.

I’ve got my first ever fireplace to keep me warm…if I could just perfect making a fire.

We actually have a pellet stove that came with the house when we bought it, but it does NOT heat the upstairs. We’ve been keeping our thermostat at 58, since we don’t spend much time upstairs, but with a new babe on the way, it would be awesome to have another heat source up there!
Bev says
HEAT ME UP!
Well, although we live in San Diego and generally can’t complain- this has been an unseasonably cold winter fur us. We just turned our garage into a playroom but boy is it cold in there! This would really help keep the kiddos warm! During those “chilly” San Diego nights I am often found either cuddled up with: a baby, a hubby, a doggie or a hot-water bottle. :)

HEAT ME UP….
I live in Northern Florida, Jacksonville, to be exact. I’m not all that cold here, seeing that I’m originally from northern Indiana. If I won, I would give it to my parents who still live up north, for their bedroom they would love it. My mom has heated blankets and a heating pad on her bed! Insane coldness up there! :)

I’ve honestly been wanting one of these since we moved into our house. It has no fire place or character and a “fire place” seems like it would at so much! As to keeping warm, my little bun in the oven has been keeping me warmer than normal this winter!
Amanda H. says
HEAT ME UP! We keep warm in southern CA by using a small plug in heater. It works great, but only one room at a time. Without it, its about 59 degrees in our house.
Michelle Z. says
“HEAT ME UP!”
We’ve been breaking out extra blankets! I also like to light some candles. I know that they don’t add any heat to the room, but they make me feel much cozier.
Beth Fulton says
HEAT ME UP!
My wonderful husband works from the house, but his business is delegated to the completely unfinished basement. We don’t even have insulation on the walls! This time of year he freezes down there and I would for him to have a little heat, and style, to cozy him up.

Heat Me Up! Would love the traditional Lincoln fireplace… these are so neat!
Staying warm with lot’s of hot tea and snuggling with my dog Toby!

This winter I am rocking a FABULOUS coat from Old Navy. It’s a short, wool, black, white and gray plaid with a hood and besides the zip it also has the toggle buttons!! So cute!!

My husband and I have been shopping for one of these babies for a couple of weeks now to help heat our COLD Michigan basement so our boys can venture back down there to play with their beloved trains. Oh, I so hope to win this time!!

Since I live further south I guess I can’t complain to much BUT it still is cold, and one of the coldest winters in awhile it seems. ** It actually snowed on Christmas :)
I still extremely dislike being cold while indoors, so it is blankets, think indoor house shoes, and then some layers, and then some more layers, and then some more!
Melissa Bufford says
HEAT ME UP!
I have been staying warm by snuggling with my kids, reading books and hanging out under the covers!
How awesome this would be!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

HEAT ME UP! Duct Tape and lots of firewood. Even though we live in texas we get alot of northern wind directly into our living room and kitchen where my family spends most of the time. We have several drafts around our doors to the patio and the door to the garage.. We tape them up the ones to the patio and don’t use them all winter and the one to the garage we stuff a blanket by it.. When we want more warmth we use the day light out of our fireplace.. it works… we stay warm..

Oklahoma winters tend to be hard to predict. One day it is 70 degrees…and the next it is 27. Our 1939 home has a wood burning fireplace, so we snuggle up to that on chilly nights.

HEAT ME UP! I’m delighted to stay warm with plenty of extra hot sauce on my quesadillas and hearty batches of soup. And it doesn’t hurt to have some just-dried towels when I hop out of the shower!

We layer ourselves in the house, so we can keep the temp relatively low. Our plan is to get a blanket for our hot water heater, too.

I have a very fluffy, slightly overweight cat who has helped me stay warm so far. A new winter jacket from my husband for Christmas hasn’t hurt, either.

My office has 3 old, drafty windows, so I’m keeping a heating pad on the back of my chair to keep warm at work. At home, a great fleece blanket and a big fluffy robe do the trick.
