Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

I bought new mittens that are lined with velour which keep my hands nice and toasty when waving down the bus outside!

hmm…layers. Some clothes, some fat. ;-)
At 6 months pregnant with a 2 week old (I tell everyone I have an unusually short gestational period, but the reality is we’re foster parents) I’ve got lots of sweet help staying warm this winter. We keep our thermostat at 65 to save $$ on gas bills so sometimes I use a small electric space heater in a room, but usually a good pair of big, fuzzy, clashing socks helps a bunch.

“heat me up” I have a dedicated boston terrier that likes to get under the covers and help keep me warm. Unfortunately, he also likes to lick his paws and get the sheets wet at the same time. a nice little heater unit would be way tidier!

I’m a Texas girl and unfortunately it hasn’t been very cold this winter! But, my favorite thing to do to keep warm is actually baking! Using my gas stove warms up the house so it’s like a two for one deal! I could really use that heater!

I have really loved having a van with an auto start so I’m able to stay warm out in the cold. I love dressing in layers as well and seem to have a blanket wrapped around me walking around the house quite often. Especially in this 30 below weather right now. :) A fireplace would come in really handy.

I would love one of these!!!! I live in Flordia and my AC/heater unit broke 2 months back. I thought I would be fine through the winter and save up enough money to replace the unit by the time summer rolled around but, GOOD GOD… It has been one COOOOLLLDDDD Winter!!! I wear flannel PJ almost around the clock in my home. This is the first time I have posted and I wanted to tell you that I love your blog and that you give me so much inspiration.
