Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

We could REALLY use this heater. We use a heat dish in our basement, but it only warms you up if you’re sitting right in front of it! We wear warm sweaters and slippers to stay warm. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

My husband has been keeping the fireplace going as much as he can. When he can’t, I walk around with my robe over my clothes. When I have time to sit down, I love to cuddle with a down throw!

Very cool, I was just watching an infomercial on electric fireplaces made by the Amish this weekend. My husband and I live in Maryland (also crazy cold this past December!) but we’re saving up to move closer to family and haven’t raised our heat above 52 degrees. We’ve kept warm by sunggling — completely effective and totally worth it. ;)

I have literally been walking around the house in a huge puffy blue robe to the dismay of my family. It is cold here in Jersey and my silly robe does the trick. this would look so great in our living room and we’ve always wanted one!

I stay warm in the Minnesota cold by dressing in layers. Cuddle duds “long underware” come in really handy during the cold season, as well as thick warm socks & several layers on top!

Better late than never, I suppose! And the best thing to stay warm in the winter? GET YOURSELF A SNUGGIE!!!!!! I will forever be a Snuggie apologist, because seriously, it’s one of the best things of all time. Especially for those times when it’s really cold and you need to change the channel with the remote but don’t want to get your arm cold. TAKE THE PLUNGE!!!
