Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

we’re in the process of remodeling a section of the house and have been blanketing it off to keep the rest of the house warm. the name of the game is old fitted sheets, duck tape, and socks (for those trips through the mess to the laundry room)

HEAT ME UP! We just moved last spring so this has been our first winter in the new house. And, of course when it turned cold, we found out that our heater was broken (even though it worked during the inspection). Although it has been fixed, we keep it set to no more than 70 when we’re awake and home, but I still need to wear sweatpants and snuggle under a blanket. I’m always cold! This would be fantastic to win and put in our living room to keep us nice and toasty.

This would be a wonderful addition to our new house. The downstairs doesn’t stay quite as warm as we would like.
We haven’t had a horribly cold winter yet, but my husbands grandmother did buy us some “snuggies” for Christmas, which is how I’m staying nice & toasty this winter.

    HEAT ME UP!

We’ve got steam heat and find that the upstairs gets too warm and the downstairs is super chilly. So there’s lots of layers and thick socks required over here at our casa! We turn it way down at night since we’re under the covers and that saves moolah, but darn the science in the heat-rising thing!

Oooh, I can picture the toasty evenings sitting by the
    “fire” now…… seriously. ;)

Oh my word, HEAT ME UP! Just moved into a new apartment and didn’t realize beforehand how drafty it is. In an effort to save some money while I convince the landlord to replace the weatherstripping on the doors, etc…(rather than heat the great outdoors) I’ve been keeping it set really low… like, just warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing. (sob story, right?) No, but seriously its all good, I have a portable heater that goes up and down the stairs with me. Its like a companion. It would be so faaaaabulouuuuus to have a second one and not lug this one around so much!
