Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:
Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).
So here’s how to enter:
- PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
******************************
Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!
Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

HEAT ME UP!
I’ve been using space heaters and bundling us up in layers and lots of blankets. Our house doesn’t have heat so we’re taking measures to stay warm. Also, lots of herbal tea to share.

My wife and I are keeping warm by using the central heater…but since its pretty old it doesn’t do that great a job. The upstairs gets nice and warm but the downstairs is freezing cold! So to survive while we watch tv, we use a space heater to warm things up. We could use this new heater, and use this asap!
Thx!

Keep moving – Living in NH you have to move to stay warm. (though on Saturday it was a balmy 48 degrees – it was awesome!!) Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, shoveling, walking the dog, trips to the gym. And when you want to be a couch potato, cuddle with the dog and cats.

I have a new pair of cozy dearfoams that I wear around the house all the time, and at least a sweater or two. We also have the thermostat set to 60F so it’s not too uncomfortable inside! Having snuggly dogs to sleep with also help keep warm too :)

This summer a bud of the hubs passed along trees that he had cut down .. lots, and lots, of them. They were in my yard for months before they were split and stacked. I wish I had photos, it’s ridiculous the stacks we have (had?). Those stacks are what’s keeping warm this winter, via a centrally located wood stove in the basement and a few strategically placed floor registers. Have you priced heating oil?
Trish says
HEAT ME UP…PLEASE!!
We would freeze if it weren’t for our electric throws (if you don’t have one you have to try one) and electric blankets. Love to win one of these!! Miss my wood stove at the former house.

Heat Me Up! Boy would I love to have one of those. We live in New Mexico where is does not get too terribly cold outside but it does get below freezing and currently we only have a small floor furnace which heats approximately three sq feet of the hallway. Our bedroom stays at a chilly 55 degrees. So a little cute electric heater would be my cat’s meow.
