Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    “Heat me up”

We are staying warm with lots of sweatshirts, sweats, electric throws, down blankets, a pup, and the central heat, when needed. I hate using the central heat because it’s SO expensive!

HEAT ME UP! I have been coveting one of these for the longest time. I would love to win and would put it to very good use. I have been cozying up in an xxl men’s fluffy robe (i’m a medium sized lady!) and it’s been doing the trick. but one of these sure would be nice for adding warmth and atmosphere to our small cottage. thanks guys!

HEAT ME UP! Unfortunately, the best way to stay warm at our house this winter is to avoid our lovely Florida room—-with it’s recently installed (DIY) laminate floors with a slate pattern and new furniture and a dining-table-turned-coffee table. We hate not being out there, but it’s just COLD!!

    HEAT ME UP!

I can’t believe how cold it’s been in LA!

My body doesn’t do well with cold. I’ve been walking around in PJ’s or fully clothed with a jacket and scarf. If I have to step outside, I throw on my black leggings I got from Primark that kept me warm in London under whatever I’m wearing and black suede gloves. I take hot baths and drink lots of hot tea. And if I have to, I’ll turn on the gas heater up high for just a couple hours to save money. But the vents are too high and only works in my living room. A cute more portable one like the mini cube would be perfect to take with me in the bedroom and easier to store away when the LA heat comes back!

    HEAT ME UP!

I keep my heater on a low warm temp while I’m home, and very rarely do I kick it up. So when I get a chill, I layer it up! :) I have a fireplace, but it’s so old it’s not worth the risk of burning the house down (renter here!). And I’m in the process of buying a house that doesn’t have a heater, so a faux fireplace would be perfect!

Heat me up! Okay I totally need this. Just moved into a new place that does not have double pane windows. Need two furnaces because of the split level. Would love a space heater type thing for the one bedroom downstairs so that I wouldn’t have to run that furnace! Am staying warm meanwhile by wearing lots of layers in the house and keeping busy unpacking!
