Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

We’ve had a cold winter down here in FL. Those nor-easterly winds send such a cool draft into our house, we could sure use one of these(pretty please with sugar on top. We’re layering on our clothes, wearing fuzzy socks, and wrapping blankets around us.

We’re trying to keep our gas bill low this winter by keeping our house a few degrees cooler than we’d prefer. Luckily we’ve only a few really cold weeks so far. Otherwise, we’re putting on sweaters and snuggling under a blanket with our puppy!

We live in the second snowiest place in the U.S. (something like 300 to 400 inches of snow per year) and heat with fuel oil. We would like to install something more efficient, especially since our current fireplace only sucks warm air OUT of the house, so this would be perfect for us!
I LOVE your blog and can’t wait to see what you do with the new digs!

HEAT ME UP! Its been cold here in Northeast Florida! I just bought my first house this summer-a 1950s concrete ranch. While I am totally in love with this house, it has more than its fair share of woes. I am slowly bringing it back to life, but have been horrified to discover that the heat doesn’t work (didn’t think to check that in the middle of July…)I’ve been trying to tough it out, but one of these babies would go a long way to improving my odds of surviving the winter. Thanks for all the inspiration and congrats on the new home!!!!
