Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!
We have electric heat, but in our living room we keep it turned off in favor of using our vent-free gas fireplace to heat that room. But as of Christmas, we’re keeping warm under our new down throw blanket from LL Bean – I’d been eyeing it up for months, so I asked my mom to get it for me for Christmas, and she came through with flying colors! Well, sage green, to be exact.

    Heat Me Up!
This is my second winter in my new house…well I guess it’s not really new to me anymore. And last year, I didn’t get my act together soon enough to use my fireplace. So this year I actually bought fire wood and have started to use it. The only problem…the fireplace is in the basement. So I need a heat source to warm up my first floor living room.

Awesome giveaway, as I’ve been looking for one I like that fits into my rather small living area..that just happens to be too cold in the winter regardless of how high I turn on the heat. Suffice to say, I live in layers and pile on the blankets ;)

HEAT ME UP!! This has been a cold winter so far in VA. We currently live in an apartment and typically prefer the house on the cold side, however, we just welcomed baby Celine into our lives (11/16) and now we need to use the heat a bit more. Luckily, since we live on the 2nd floor we get a lot of heat from the family downstairs :) and only need to supplement with our heat occasioanlly!

We live in a mobile home from 1972 – our heater gave up and called it quits. We do have a small wood burner that hellps and is getting us through this Winter but she’s very outdated also.

As for warmth, Thank God I have warm clothing, and sheets, and a heart-warming and body warming hubby! :) Except, his hands and feet are always cold. Emphasize on ALWAYS! lol
A nice warm cup of tea or soup does one good, as well as a relaxing bath. Heating pad does good too. We also have a tiny room heater we plug in if we are in the same room and just shut the door. Good for one room, not the whole apartment though, and curtains on some windows keep out some cold. I am all for portable heaters and other ways of staying warm. It sure helps the electric bill!
