Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!

I live in San Francisco so it is usually summer when I need warmth. I love the warm winters but never wearing shorts in the summer can get old.

    HEAT ME UP!
In the winter I rely on slippers, warm baths, cocoa, and a little dachshund or two curled up on my lap for extra warmth.

    I’d love to HEAT UP!

I love those fireplaces and we’ve been looking to add one to our little cozy house. This winter it hasn’t been too cold, but I have these amazing Nanuk-of-the-North-type boots with faux fur at the top that I love wearing when it gets cold. I also love hot baths in our newly remodeled bathroom with a clawfoot tub.

HEAT ME UP! …and right under the buzzer!
Well, to stay warm downstairs we finally had our wood burning fireplace cleaned and the flue repaired this year so that we could have cozy fires. We are so thankful we did because PA has been very chilly this winter too :-) However, up in our master bedroom we are still freezing…it is over the garage and not very well insulated so the addition of an electric fireplace would be PERFECT! keeping my fingers crossed! Love your blog and might be a little obsessed with it…ya’ll are great!

HEAT ME UP! With three feet of snow and more on the way, I am staying warm with a wood stove, down comforter and blanket, flannel jammies, hot cocoa, wool socks, silk long underwear, two pairs of new boots, a new jacket, new snow pants, anD a HOT HUSBAND! Our bedroom isn’t heated, so this would help keep us toast in there.

Heat me up! We hosted our family Christmas party — 50+ people — and we had to borrow three space heaters so we could heat up the garage for overflow. One of these beauties would be a gread help for next Christmas Eve.

AHHHH!!! I WON! I WON!! Wow! My husband and I picked the Danville heater and can’t wait to add it to our house! Our living room already has a fireplace so I think we’re going to put this one in our bedroom for some romance! Should help with the baby making plans! Hee hee!!!
