How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

Radio Me…I love having the radio on in the mornings to help get me and the pup moving. He likes to belt out top 40’s in the am but I’m a little slower to get going and enjoy the playful am DJ banter. But we often find that middle ground to shake our tails to.

I use the radio to play music for my 8 month old to dance to in the kitchen. You turn on the radio, and he instantly smiles and jams. Brightens my day!

I plug my ipod into my radio… turn up the dance tunes when I clean the house, and do “research” to find new songs to play in my cycle classes. My husband uses the radio to listen to podcasts when he does housework.
