How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

Radio Me!! My husband would love this to listen to the news, weather or his ipod in the early morning getting ready for work or for exercising anytime. So would I and it might even get me to do more situps! We recently redid my son’s room after he moved out and this would be a perfect spot for it. The mocha walls would look mighty good with this radio in green or yellow. Its also a guest room and this would be a nice surprise for visitors too.

I have an hour commute everyday to work, so that’s where I listen to most of my jams. Would looove to be able to listen to music while I slave in the kitchen!

RADIO ME! I listen to a lot of NPR on my way into work and I also love a local radio station in Detroit. He’s not one to talk smack on everyone and everything. He’s a nice change from most of the other local stations and it doesn’t hurt that I need some top 40 to jam to while making my way in to work.

Radio me!!! I listen to my radio while I get ready for work every morning, then while I make supper, and if it’s nice enough, while we dine outside on the patio. We have one of those old “whole-house” radio systems, but it doesn’t work in every room and the patio receiver went out during the winter. :(

Radio Me! I always have music in the car, but lately I’ve been wanting more in the house. Unfortunately, my radio reception is spotty, but this radio is so cute and bonus it has the ipod connection. RADIO ME PLSSSSSSS!!!!!! I listen to 60’s and 70’s all day while I’m packing up our house to move :( Sold our amazing ranch home in 4 months and have been looking for a new house for months. So much for a buyers market… Sure could use a cool new radio to listen to while I finish packing :)

Radio Me! Until my son was born it was all NPR on the way to work, I do love me some Morning Edition. But now it’s NPR until he realizes this is what he wants to listen to on the way to “school” then a lot of Justin Roberts. Which, oddly, I don’t mind because even though his music is for kids I find myself singing along….is that sad?
