How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

Right now we mostly use it to listen to NPR and sports radio on the ride to work…. and via our phones to listen to Bruins games when we are away from the house. I would LOVE one in the kitchen to listen to NPR on weekend mornings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use my radio to rock out! Well, I am not necessarily listening to rock and roll, but I am having a blast, nonetheless.
At work it is used to listen to my favorite morning show and to have background music to help me get through the workday.
At home it is often used to help my 3 month old fall back asleep listening to the classical music station.
And then we have weekend radio. Weekend radio is what I call it when I crank up the music to get some cleaning (and dancing too, no judging – our house is a judge free zone) done!!!
