How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

Radio me (us)- my hysband and i both grew up listening to our hometown Cincinnati Reds baseball games on warm summer nights in the backyard…we actually still do but we have such an awful “boom box” from my college years…it’s really pitiful:( I would say its on it’s last legs however, it may not have any legs at this point!!!!

My husband will check the weather in the morning and evenings like an 8o year old man (no offense to weather checking grandpas but my husband is in his 20s) and I will quietly play some jams while my toddler sleeps to drowned out the noise made by me sneaking snacks in and out of the pantry while he naps.
